When
one decides to have their makeup applied by a professional makeup artist
on their wedding day, here are a few things that should be considered.
Get at least three separate quotes from qualified artists, having a trial
application done no later than one month before the wedding day.
Does the artist have a portfolio that you can view that shows the quality
of their work?
Look to bridal magazines for ideas on the style and type of application
that you would like to have done.
Don't be intimidated about giving the artist your ideas and feedback on
how you would like to look.
Make sure to get a receipt or contract as to the rates, dates and any
monies that are paid up front by you. And have it signed by all parties.
You did this with the caterer, the photographer, the musicians etc.
Didn't you?
And why not treat yourself to a facial or massage a few days before the
wedding.
Remember,
this is your day and you should look and feel your beautiful best.
CONGRATULATIONS!
